With this series I wanted to explore the feeling of loneliness, and a longing to form connections with others. The first image in the series titled “Neighbour” is intended to invoke the feeling of being on the outside looking in, being drawn to the inviting warm glow of possible connections, but being unable to cross the threshold. “Reflection” is about looking inwards, in an attempt to find an answer to a question that you can’t quite put into words. Finally, “Transmission” is about discovering a new way in which to communicate, one that enables you to be your true authentic self, no longer alone, free from the shackles of insecurity.
