Does AI Dream? explores a speculative future where artificial intelligence begins to dream—not from human prompts, but from something deeper, yet still shaped by us. Each piece was photographed, painted, and assembled by CRFTD, a human. Built in iterative stages, earlier details resurface in later works, echoing how AI carries fragments of past inputs into new outputs. Each piece, sparked by a quote or poem, reassembles words and images into fresh meaning. Through this work, I ask: if AI could dream, would its visions remain a reflection of us, or become something entirely its own?
