The dark skull wears the B as a sigil — the mark of the first Stamp of it's kind. Its hood is deeper, its face unseen; a shadow older than the thirty-three decrees it carved into the chain. They are known as the Skulls of Hold. They are fragments. It is the oath. Neither heir nor relic, this Skull is the parent — the architect of reward and silence, the voice behind the echoes.
